Home Sweet ... Home?

It has been a while since we last posted - and for this we apologize. As you can imagine, things got pretty crazy when we arrived home in Canada. We've been here for almost 2 months now and it's been non-stop since we landed!! A lot has happened so far this summer, but I won't bore you with the details. Here's what's really on our hearts:

We're HOMESICK! Isn't that terrible? We were so homesick for Canada and now we're homesick for Dublin! I never thought I would say those words but there they are. We miss the kids, our friends and our lives there. Everything is so fast paced in Dublin that you feel like you're getting something done just by being there - but Canada ... as much as I love this place, it's just so apathetic. We are fighting so hard to remain passionate about our call to Ireland, but we're kind of having the life sucked out of us. It's not all bad though - we've spent some amazing time with our families and friends and God has definitely been solidifying our "call", so that's been awesome.

All in all, Canada is great but the Spirit of the place is just as heavy as Dubs, just in a different way. We are so excited to come back to Dublin to minister more to the kids - God moved in huge ways while we were there this year - and we know He's got great plans for our next stint. Thanks for your patience with our blog - I'm not great at the whole "updating" thing.
